The Lime Bar & Grill just lost their information-technology specialist due to a premature death.  Newtec Business Solutions was asked to complete the work that was started.  The establishment uses hospitality software on seven point-of-sale (POS) terminals; two back-office computers (one server); seven credit card authorization devices; one modem for credit card processing; one kitchen printer; and one back-office printer.

 

With the POS terminals consistently failing, Newtec Business Solutions made recommendations to correct many of the core issues.  First, we performed an analysis of the software to determine systems requirements.  In a report, outlining computer-server limitations, we set forth a practical solution that brought the hardware in compliance with the software specifications; protected the computer cabling around wet areas; and created a redundant computer system.

 

The Lime Bar & Grill can now focus on satisfying its customers on a nightly basis.  Technology became part of the solution and not the recurring problem it once was.  To facilitate the technology process Newtec Business Solutions performed the following: technology analysis; established guidelines; purchased computers; incorporated redundant systems; and provided training.
