Timmy Newsome, a celebrated athlete and technology provider, is renowned for his contributions both on and off the field. After a successful career with the Dallas Cowboys where he scored 30 touchdowns, Newsome spent his off seasons as a computer programmer/analyst and transitioned fulltime to technology, founding Newtec Business Solutions in 1991. Over the past 34 years, his company has been at the forefront of digital transformation, providing secure unified communications and cloud-based solutions to businesses of all sizes. Newsome’s unique journey from professional sports to technology entrepreneurship has inspired countless individuals, and his commitment to youth empowerment and community service has made a lasting impact.Mr. Newsome is a member of the Department of Computer Science Advisory Board at Winston-Salem State University.The Texas Certified Public Manager Program, housed at the William P.
